This could be covered:
Clinical or scientific visits outside country of residence with the purpose of improving skills and/or developing and sharing expertise.
Voluntary or project work in developing countries.
Courses outside the applicants country of residence.
Collaborative clinical or scientific projects between members of the national societies of NFOG.

NFOG thesis registry

To stimulate submissions from authors, the NFOG Board has decided to draw 2 authors from each year to win prizes of DDK 2500 (about 335€ ).

Visit Centres of Special Skills or Interest


NFOG is aiming to facilitate visits to Centres of Special Skills or Interest throughout the nordic countries.

We are making a list of Centres that are willing to accept visitors within NFOG visitor program.
Those (departments/clinics) who wish to be considered as Centers of Special Interest is encouraged to come forward.

Scientific journal

The new 2010 impact factor of AOGS has risen to 1.86.

The journal now ranks as number 31 of 75 among all obstetrics and gynecology journals and has gone up on the list. In Europe AOGS is nr. 2 as regards impact factor among general obstetrics and gynecology journals.

 


Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica
is the official scientific journal of NFOG.

Now: get free online access for NFOG members. (Members will need to apply for a password).

Subspecialist training in gynecologic oncology.
A survey on the subspecialist training in gynecologic oncology in the Nordic countries has been made.
14 centers are interested in exchange of fellows from other countries, and they are all able to educate the fellows.
The results of the survey are described in an article in AOGS (link for members with access to ACTA) ).
