We are making a list of Centres that are willing to accept visitors within NFOG visitor program.
Those (departments/clinics) who wish to be considered as Centers of Special Interest is encouraged to come forward.

FIGO elections 2015


Great Nordic success in FIGO elections!
Seija Grenman was elected for Vice-President of FIGO at the General assembly in Vancouver October 9.

Further, Margit Steinholt from Norway was elected member of the Executive Board.
NFOG congratulate them! We are very proud of the winners, and also very happy with the joint Nordic behind these great achievements.
Together with Anette Tønnes Pedersen already in the Executive Board, we now have altogether three Nordic members at the FIGO Board – for the first time in our history!

FIGO - NFOG symposium




The Nordic Ingemar Ingemarsson Memorial Symposium on Preterm Delivery was very successful !
The NFOG Symposium in Vancouver turned out to be a great event. It was chaired by Knut Hordnes and Sven Montan , and following an Introduction about Ingemar by Knut Hordnes, there were 5 excellent talks on different aspects of preterm delivery. There was a full audience, and great interest.

Impact factor of AOGS increased again
The impact factor of AOGS has increased from 2.005 to 2.426!
AOGS have made it to the top-20 in the OBGYN category and the ranking has improved from 31st among 78 to 20th among 79 journals in our specialty.

Congratulations to the editorial team, this is a fantastic achievement!

Printed copy of AOGS (Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica) to NFOG members has been limited.

AOGS

As of 2013 we have moved our 92-year old publication into the present and the future by moving to a largely online-only distribution of the journal for as many of the nfog-members as possible in accord with widespread modern practice.

We therefore encourage all NFOG-members to register for online access to AOGS which you are entitled to as a member of NFOG.
If you as a member want the printed copy then please contact your national society.
